Job summary

Piedmont-Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Home Health in the Augusta area. You will provide nursing care in patients' homes as prescribed by the physician and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

The role requires SC licensure (or NLC/eNCL) and CPR, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits. Experience is not required, making this an excellent entry into home health.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• No experience required.
• SC Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire (Required).
• CPR certification (Required).
• Driver license and access to reliable transportation (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician.
• Coordinate total plan of care with other health care professionals to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Communicate with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources.
• Operate within a Point of Care setting.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies. The Registered Nurse coordinates total plan of care with other health care professionals involved in care and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within a Point of Care setting.
