Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge, with emphasis on timely assessment and discharge planning.

You will supervise and coordinate nursing care in a multi-disciplinary team, delegating tasks appropriately while upholding our standards of respect and patient safety. MA RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS and a BSN are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the setting.
