Job summary

ECU Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and professional standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with collaboration from patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Requires NC RN license or compact-state licensure and American Heart Association Basic Life Support. Position involves Monday–Friday four 10-hour shifts (0700–1700) with on-call and weekend

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license (or licensure in a participating compact state).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care including data collection and assessment, outcome identification, and care planning in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions, implement plan of care, evaluate progress, and document care with sensitivity to patient and family age-specific needs.
• Promote effective functioning of the healthcare team and delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act.
