UMass Memorial Health seeks an experienced registered nurse to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process across the patient lifecycle. You will assess patients, develop and coordinate care plans, and ensure smooth discharge processes in a high-demand setting.

Holders of Massachusetts RN licensure with BLS are required; ACLS as applicable and a BSN are preferred. This role supports the hospital’s mission of compassionate care and clinical excellence.

Schedule Details: Holidays - One Major Summer Holiday, Holidays - One Major Winter Holiday, Weekends - One Full Weekend a Month Scheduled Hours: A mix of 4,8,12-hour shifts depending on unit needs. • Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.

Position Qualifications

• License/Certification/Education:
  • Required:
    • Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
    • BLS is a requirement for every RN unless advance cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.
• Experience/Skills:
  • Required:
    • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
