CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to inmate patients within correctional facilities. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with nursing standards.

The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, perform medication administration, education, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining a safe and compliant clinical environment.

RNs collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care and desired health outcomes.

Correctional nurses deliver care to promote and improve overall health, often managing a patient population that has had limited access to healthcare prior to incarceration. This role allows RNs to care for a wide range of conditions, from minor ailments to complex medical or behavioral health issues.

Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment (maintain a current copy on file at all times)

Minimum Work Experience

• Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in a correctional healthcare environment preferred

• Provide patient education, including medication guidance, self-care instructions, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation in appropriate formats
• Promote a therapeutic and professional environment for inmates
• Adhere to infection control policies, medication administration standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in ongoing staff development, training, and quality improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on facility needs
