Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Florence, SC seeks a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and no on-call requirement.

You will lead care teams, collaborate with the multidisciplinary staff, and ensure safety, privacy, and patient-centered care consistent with MUSC policies. Eligible nurses receive extensive benefits and educational support.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required and 1+ year nursing experience.
• Active RN licensure in SC or a compact state is required.
• Current AHA BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Lead and directs other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment while ensuring patient privacy.
• Participate in professional practice, governance and ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate care delivery utilizing care management principles to improve outcomes.
• Engage in shared governance and promote a healthy work environment.
