Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on a 36-hour work week schedule (7a-7p). The role involves leading a care team, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, and delivering patient/family centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position offers a sign-on bonus for full-time employment, extensive state health benefits and retirement, and up to six weeks of parental leave.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required (RN).
• At least 1 year RN experience required.
• Current SC RN license or compact state license.
• AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural needs.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and professional conduct.
• Participate in shared governance and professional development to promote leadership and clinical excellence.
• Coordinate care using care management principles to improve patient outcomes.
