Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a licensed registered nurse to join our inpatient team. This 36-hour/week position offers every other weekend, with no on-call requirement, and provides comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in shared governance, and support safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing and RN licensure are required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum one year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with privacy and professional conduct.
• participate in shared governance, adheres to standards of care, and engage in professional development.
• Coordinate care delivery using care management principles to improve patient outcomes.
