Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at the Birmingham Heart Clinic in Birmingham, AL. This full-time, day-shift role involves planning and coordinating patient care, ensuring accurate clinic notes, and communicating results with physicians and patients.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and an Alabama RN license, with potential travel to Gardendale, Pell City, and Oneonta. Comprehensive benefits accompany a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Active Alabama State Nursing License required.
• Day shift, full-time position with some travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate patients’ plans of care.
• Ensure clinic notes prepared by MA prior to clinic.
• Convey patient problems and abnormal results to the MD.
• Relay test results and treatment plans to patients.
• Document in EMR for each patient visit.
• Obtain pre-authorizations for meds, tests, and procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned and travel to other clinics.

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Registered Nurse to join our team at Brimingham Heart Clinc located in Birmingham, AL

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and coordinate patients’ plans of care.
• Make sure clinic notes are prepped properly by MA prior to clinic
• Convey patient problems, abnormal results to MD
• Relay test results and MD treatment plan to the patient
• Document in EMR all required information for each visit to patient
• Obtain pre-authorizations for medication, diagnostic testing, and hospital procedures.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary
• May require travel to clinics in Gardendale, Pell City and Oneonta

Requirements:

• Current Alabama State Nursing License
