Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Birmingham team. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality treatment.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, and CME allowance. Travel to clinics in Gardendale, Pell City and Oneonta may be required, with duties centered in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama State Nursing License.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate patients' plans of care.
• Make sure clinic notes are prepped properly by MA prior to clinic
• Convey patient problems, abnormal results to MD
• Relay test results and MD treatment plan to the patient
• Document in EMR all required information for each visit to patient
• Obtain pre-authorizations for medication, diagnostic testing, and hospital procedures.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary
• May require travel to clinics in Gardendale, Pell City and Oneonta
