Registered Nurse - 3 South Telemetry - CVC, PT Nights

Position: Registered Nurse - 3 South Telemetry - Part-Time Nights 7 pm - 7:30 am

• Sign-On Bonus: $9,000
• Department: 3 South Telemetry
• Schedule: Part-Time Nights 7 pm - 7:30 am, every other weekend; 36-60 hours per pay period
• Hospital: Henry Ford Health Genesys
• Location: Grand Blanc, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using professional judgment, the nursing process, and analytical skills to patients.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, compassion, customer service, focus on outcomes, and cost-awareness within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses, respecting patient rights, dignity, and cultural preferences.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop discharge plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Document nursing interventions, patient education, and responses accurately and timely.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies following established protocols.
• Support quality improvement activities and participate in teaching and mentoring staff and students.
• Adhere to safety standards, confidentiality, and ethical practices.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 2 months of hire.
• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.
