Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage care for patients undergoing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, document care, and educate patients and families.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; MO RN license in good standing; BLS within 90 days of hire. Night shift 6:30 PM–7:00 AM; 36 scheduled hours per week. Sign-on bonuses and relocation options may be available.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience
