Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to manage care for patients undergoing medical conditions or surgical procedures in our Springfield facility. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, change dressings, and maintain accurate records while supporting patients and families with education and reassurance.

The role requires current RN license in Missouri, BLS within 90 days of hire, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: BSN in Nursing.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program


• Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire


• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience
