Job summary

CoxHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. The RN will manage care for patients undergoing medical conditions or surgical procedures, assess conditions, administer meds, change dressings, monitor vitals, and educate patients and families.

Education includes an active Missouri RN license and BLS within 90 days; preferred Bachelor’s in Nursing. Scheduled weekly hours are 36, with night hours 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, across a six-hospital system.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience
