Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to manage patient care during medical and surgical procedures. You will assess conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and document care while educating patients and families.

Required: Missouri RN license and active BLS within 90 days of hire. Preferred BSN and prior nursing experience; strong communication and multitasking abilities in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education
