Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for acute care across multiple departments. Earn $36.00–$49.16 per hour with 12-hour shifts available, across departments such as ED, Medical-Surgical, ICU, PCU, OR, Oncology, and more.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS (ARC/AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
• PALS (ARC/AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency within assigned areas

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as ordered and per hospital policy.
• Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other team members.
• Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and other department-specific clinical interventions.
• Operate and monitor clinical equipment appropriate to the assigned department.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, the RN provides direct patient care, promotes positive clinical outcomes, and ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practice.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitivecompensationand a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is$36.00 to $49.16 per hour.
