McLaren Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse for the 2 S Behavioral Health unit. In a night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, you will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate direct patient care while upholding patient privacy and dignity. You will participate in leadership activities as you gain experience.
Requirements include Michigan RN license, BLS within 30 days, CPI within 6 months, and prior psychiatric inpatient experience is preferred. Schedule: Part-time, with 48 bi-weekly hours.

Position Summary:
Assesses, plans, provides, and evaluates direct patient care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit. Assures the quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Michigan nurse Practice Act, McLaren Lapeer Region, and nursing department standards. Utilizing the nursing process, functions primarily in direct patient care. Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Maintains patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respects patient rights. Begins leadership and preceptor participation when performance demonstrates ability.
