Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Dover, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. You will apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and guide patient and family teaching while coordinating with physicians.

The role requires an active RN license, current BLS, and ACLS (preferred). Prior acute care and ventilator management experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicates with physician about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Responds quickly to changes in condition and/or treatment.
