Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists with nursing care plans aligned with treatment plans.
• Administers medications and monitors patients’ conditions.
• Maintains and records nursing notes, medications, treatments, and vital signs.
• Participates in developing, implementing, and revising individual care plans with the care team.
• Adjusts nursing care plans based on patient condition and response to treatment.
• Triages patient illnesses and consults with physicians as needed in emergencies.
• Educates patients and families on health, medications, procedures, and goals of care.
• Ensures compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
• May train paraprofessional staff in nursing techniques and equipment.
