Job summary

Vernon Health and Living in Wabash, IN is seeking a compassionate RN to join our pediatric and adult long-term care team. You will provide direct nursing care, lead the shift, and help maintain a supportive, family-like atmosphere for residents.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Indiana or applicable state
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond promptly
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and skilled procedures
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs on your shift
• Communicate with residents, families, and attending physicians
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Participate in care planning, MDS, and quality improvement activities
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility standards

Requirements
