Sterling Healthcare Management is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our pediatric and adult long-term care team at Vernon Health and Living in Wabash, IN.

You will provide hands-on personal care, help residents with daily activities, and ensure safety and accuracy in documenting care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid CNA license in the state of practice.
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene
• Help residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
• Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse
• Respond to call lights quickly and with a caring attitude
• Follow care plans, infection control protocols, and safety standards
• Document care provided accurately each shift
