Job summary

Reliant Management is seeking a Registered Nurse in California to provide direct and indirect patient care within a skilled nursing setting. The role involves creating and evaluating care plans, and documenting patient status in compliance with standards and company policy.

You will administer IV meds, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and supervise LVNs and CNAs. Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC rotations, with opportunities for growth in a large, established organization.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California (CA)
• CPR certification required
• Experience supervising LVNs and CNAs preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation)
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, nursing supervisors, and coworkers
• Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy
• Administer IV medications and treatments
• Supervise patient care provided by LVNs and CNAs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Schedule includes AM, PM, and NOC shifts/rotations

Our Registered Nurse is responsible for patient care, assess and evaluates patient status by writing care plans, health assessments, completes, maintains and submits clinical notes regarding patient's condition. Provides professional nursing care utilizing all elements of nursing process.

What You'll Do:

• Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate

• Administers IV medications and treatments
• Work cooperatively with other members of the facility interdisciplinary team
• Supervise patient care provided by Licensed Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Schedule: AM, PM, and NOC shifts/rotations available

What You'll Bring:

• Current RN license in the state of CA
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Previous experience supervising LVN's and CNA's
• Demonstrates excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communication
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
