Job summary

FloMed Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic delivering Medical Infusions and Injections in a relaxing ambulatory setting. The Infusion Nurse provides clinical services, administers care, and may supervise staff, reporting to the Nursing Manager to maintain quality of care and communicate patient changes.

Requirements include a Florida or New Jersey RN license, Bachelor’s degree preferred, a minimum of five years nursing experience including 2+ years in infusion, and strong IV skills.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in Florida or New Jersey.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum five years nursing experience with 2+ years infusion experience.
• Excellent IV skills and ability to start IV lines on difficult patients.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Infusion Nurse

FloMed Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic offering Medical Infusions and Injections in a relaxing ambulatory environment. For more specifics on what we do and who we are, please review our website https://flomedinfusion.com/. We are a Florida-based company with plans for rapid expansion across the state of New Jersey. We currently have 12 offices in Florida and 4 additional offices open in New Jersey. Candidates will be required to orient at least 1 week in Delray Beach, Florida.

Infusion Registered Nurse Position Responsibilities Summary

The Infusion Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing clinical services. The infusion nurse is responsible for the quality; adequacy of services provided and may, when required, supervise staff. Administers clinical care, prepares progress notes and summaries of care. Keeps the Nursing Manager, physician, and other personnel informed of changes in the client’s condition.

Requirements

Infusion nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey).

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program.

Minimum of five (5) years of documented experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with two (2) years experience in infusion care, preferred.

• Pediatric experience a plus.
• Port access experience.

• Understands regulatory compliance, federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA.
• Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.

Infusion Registered Nurse Physical Requirements:

The Infusion Nurse must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
