Job summary

FloMed Infusion Services LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Florida-based infusion clinic. The RN will provide inpatient/outpatient infusion services, administer care, and document progress notes in an ambulatory setting. 5 years of RN experience with 2 years infusion care is preferred, with licensure in Florida or New Jersey.

Responsibilities include IV starts, patient assessment, and collaboration with the Nursing Manager and physicians. Travel to multiple offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Infusion RN with current unencumbered licensure in the hiring state.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of five years of documented experience; 3–5 years clinical, 2 years infusion care preferred.

We are a Florida-based company with plans for rapid expansion across the state of New Jersey. We currently have 12 offices in Florida and 4 additional offices open in New Jersey. Candidates will be required to orient at least 1 week in Delray Beach, Florida.

Infusion Registered Nurse Position Responsibilities Summary:

The Infusion Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing clinical services. The infusion nurse is responsible for the quality; adequacy of services provided and may, when required, supervise staff. Administers clinical care, prepares progress notes and summaries of care. Keeps the Nursing Manager, physician, and other personnel informed of changes in the client’s condition.

Infusion nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey).

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program.

Minimum of five (5) years of documented experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with two (2) years experience in infusion care, preferred.

• Excellent IV skills/ Ability to start IV lines on difficult patients.
• Pediatric experience a plus.
• Port access experience.

• Treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image.
• Understands regulatory compliance, federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA.
• Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.
• Infusion Registered Nurse Physical Requirements:

The Infusion Nurse must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
