Job summary

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services in New York invites you to join our mission as a Registered Nurse. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities within our residences, with the HR team conducting a personal screening.

Responsibilities include oversight of medication administration, quarterly nursing assessments, and coordinating care with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• A current NYS Registered Nurse licensure and registration, with a minimum of one‑year post‑licensure experience.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and personal transportation.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

• Oversight of medical/clinical case management for the individuals living in the residences, including interacting with community providers, and communicating medical/nursing needs/orders to other members of the team.
• Training unlicensed assistive personnel on the medical/nursing/clinical needs of the individuals, and providing direction and education on how to meet those needs.
• Using agency's electronic medical record system for documentation purposes.

Compensation & Schedule

Minimum Salary: $75,866.54/year

Maximum Salary: $75,866.54/year

Schedule: M-F flexible schedule, no on‑call expectations, no evenings, no weekends, no mandates, and all 17 observed holidays off.
