Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS) in Vermont seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide nursing oversight for five licensed residential facilities serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The RN will supervise medication procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and support residents, families, and staff.

This role partners closely with program leadership, direct support staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and positive health outcomes.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide nursing oversight to five licensed residential facilities serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).Provide nursing consultation, assistance, training, monitoring and delegation of medication administration procedures to staff of the facilities in accordance with applicable regulations from the State of Vermont Division of Licensing and Protection (DLP).Responsible for the completion of Resident Assessments in accordance with applicable licensing regulations.Responsible for the development and monitoring of nursing care plans and protocols for residents in the Licensed Residential Program in accordance with applicable state, federal, program and agency standards.Responsible for the development and monitoring of various special care procedures for individuals served by the DS program. The Registered Nurse will provide training and delegate staff, as appropriate, to implement the procedures.Function as part of individual clients’ support team as appropriate.
