Job summary

York County Outpatient Endoscopy Center in Rock Hill, SC is hiring a Registered Nurse, PRN to join our team. The RN will plan, direct, organize and implement all nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and quality in line with standards.

We value licensed RNs with hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU experience, BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred), and strong communication. GI experience is a plus; this is a PRN on-site role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS/PALS preferred or included in education plan.
• Ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and work in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre- or post surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe patient care in line with standards.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State standards of care.
• Cares for patients from 1 month to geriatric.

About The Opportunity

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

About The Candidate

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS certification.
• Current ACLS / PALS preferred or included in education plan.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• GI Experience preferred.
