Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Full Time GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse for the South County Outpatient Endoscopy Services (SCOPES) center. The RN plans, directs and coordinates pre/post-operative nursing care in a patient-centered, safety-focused environment.

Position requires weekdays only (no holidays, weekends, or on-call). ACLS certification is required; active RN license in the state. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care for pre/post-surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with nursing standards.
• Care for patients from 1 month to geriatric.
• Maintain patient flow and prioritise workload to meet unit needs.

Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse at SCOPES

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
