AHMC HealthCare seeks a Staff RN to provide professional nursing care to a group of patients, applying the nursing process and collaborating across disciplines. The role emphasizes safety, critical thinking, and patient-centered planning.
Responsibilities include formulating the care plan, monitoring patient status, and addressing comprehensive needs across biophysical, cognitive, emotional, and social domains. California licensure and current CPR/ACLS are required, with ICU experience preferred.
The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Applies appropriate theory as a basis for decisions regarding nursing practice. The RN shall, for their patient, collaborate in the formulation of the overall plan of care for the patient, as evidenced by written documentation. Identifies problems specific to biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs.
Current California RN License. Current CPR and ACLS certifications required. Completion of Critical Care and Basic Dysrhythmia course if less than 2 years experience. 2 Years ICU experience preferred. Current NIHSS certification, or within 90 days of employment.
