Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role located in Richmond, IN. The Registered Nurse will provide direct resident care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary team members, updating documentation, and communicating with residents and families about care needs and progress. The RN will supervise and support nursing assistants, help ensure compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana, in good standing.


• Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, wound care, and basic life support.


• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary staff.


• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.


• Commitment to resident-centered care, dignity, and cultural sensitivity in a long-term and post-acute care setting.


• Comfort with following clinical protocols, infection control practices, and safety procedures.


• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care settings preferred.


• Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.


• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.


• CPR/BLS certification; additional geriatric or long-term care certifications are a plus.
