Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health in Plymouth, MN seeks an Endoscopy RN to work 0.9 FTE (4 nine-hour shifts, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm). The role includes recording medical history, starting IVs, performing INR and glucose testing, and assisting physicians during endoscopy procedures.

You will maintain accurate EHR documentation, help with recovery and discharge, observe infection control, and support patient and family education.

Responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and assessment.
• Start IV/saline lock.
• Perform INR and glucose testing.
• Prepare patients for and assist physician in endoscopy procedures.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in the electronic health record.
• Recovery of sedated patients and discharge assessments.
• Utilize proper infection control techniques.
• Monitor all aspects of patient care, anticipate patient and physician needs.
• Instruct individuals and families on topics such as health education and disease prevention.
• Infusion and injection administration
• Esophageal Motility/PH testing
• ARM/Biofeedback
• InterSTIM wire placement and removal
• Assist with BRAVO Capsule placement
• Capsule studies
• Maintain supplies by keeping supplies stock for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed
• On-Call Prep RN (Vadnais Heights Endoscopy Site) – Responding to patient calls while on call (evening, weekend or holiday)

• Salary Range: Starting range $40.39 - $46.45/hour (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education)
