Job summary

Squirrel Hill Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care for residents in a rehabilitative and long-term setting. You will lead nursing actions per the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies, while collaborating closely with the care team.

The role emphasizes strong teamwork, sound clinical judgment under pressure, and consistent communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the way using the Nurse Practice Act, LH Standards, Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Assesses residents, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the resident's care.
• Implements the resident plan of care and evaluates the resident response.
• Directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.

Shifts Available:

• Supervisor shifts available
• Full-time, 8-hour shifts: 5 days per week with rotating weekends

• Lead the way using the Nurse Practice Act, LH Standards, Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment
• Delivers nursing care to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
