Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC, invites an experienced RN to join the 4T Surgery team on the first shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), with every other weekend required. You will apply the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and support the medical plan of care in a busy surgical unit.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited nursing degree and SC RN licensure. Preferred candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills to coordinate care with physicians,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide and document professional nursing care.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicate findings to appropriate person(s) as indicated.
• Serve as a resource for SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.

Responsibilities: Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
