Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans: Work with patients and families to create personalized care plans.
• Deliver patient care: Provide evidence-based care, educate patients and families, and implement interventions according to hospital policies.
• Evaluate outcomes: Monitor patient responses and adjust care based on outcomes and evidence-based practices.
• Drive improvement: Develop and evaluate Performance Improvement initiatives with the Clinical Manager.
• Promote High Reliability: Use High Reliability principles to improve patient care and operations.
• Lead and mentor: Motivate, educate, delegate, and mentor peers and team members.
• Document care: Accurately document the nursing process and patient responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance: Follow policies and complete required training.
