Job summary

Compass Health Center, Northbrook, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our mission-driven team and provide compassionate care to individuals navigating mental health challenges. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 9:30am–5:30pm CST onsite.

You will perform medication administration, nursing assessments, vitals collection, care coordination, and collaboration with providers to support crisis management and family education.

Qualifications

• Hold a BSN degree (preferred) or LPN.
• Are a Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in Illinois.
• Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience (preferred).
• Have experience in mental health (preferred).
• Possess excellent therapeutic communication skills.

About This Role

We're seeking a Registered Nurse to join our mission-driven team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals navigating mental health challenges. Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility, and consists not only of our widest variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings.

Schedule: 100% onsite at our Northbrook, IL location. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:30am-5:30pm CST

What You’ll Do:

• Medication administration
• Nursing Assessments

• Performing basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
• Recording patient history and medical findings
• Assisting providers with writing laboratory orders and retrieving results
• Assisting with the completion of medical documentation for patients and their families
• Coordinating with insurance companies for medication and diagnostic prior authorizations
• Assisting providers with prescription refills
• Provide support & assistance to the organization’s committees
• Provide support and assistance during crisis or emergency situations

Who You Are:

• Hold a BSN degree (preferred) or LPN
• Are a Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in Illinois
• Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR
• Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience (preferred)
• Have experience in mental health (preferred)

$28 - $35 USD
