Job summary

RI International in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN also serves as clinical liaison until enrollment in services at another community facility.

This full-time, non-exempt night position (7:00 PM–7:30 AM, Thu–Sat and every other Wednesday) offers a $35.00–$42.00/hour wage and a $12,000 retention bonus paid in $3,000 increments.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
• State RN license required

Responsibilities

• Guest care and advocacy with public/private agencies to ensure services
• Assist in service planning and documentation
• Conduct assessments and treatment plans
• Provide individual and family counseling
• Participate in educational curriculum development
• Supervise nursing care and monitoring (e.g., diabetes, BP)
• Respond to crisis calls and intervene as needed
• Coordinate with outside medical and nursing support (pharmacy/lab)
• Administer medications as per protocol
• Complete clinical documentation
• Stay compliant with regulations and policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Summary of Job

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Guest Care & Advocacy:
• Coordinates services with various public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
• Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
• Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
• Provides individual and family counseling.
• Participates in the development of educational curriculum.
• Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
• Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
• Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
• Administers medication as required by protocol.
• Completes clinical documentation as required.
• Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
• Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
• Cross Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
• Additional Duties:
• Performs other related duties assigned.
