We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Program Manager to provide expertise, training, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. This role involves overseeing nursing services and delivering intensive consultation for participants with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for the Nursing Program.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain clinical histories.
  • Develop and manage individualized nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor medical equipment and diagnose health issues.
  • Supervise and train nursing staff, including training on medical administration records (MAR) and client-specific care needs.
  • Provide crisis consultation and monitor crisis intervention documentation.
  • Conduct medication administration training and assess medications for participants.
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols and policies.
  • Document services for billing and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass criminal background checks and have no active listings in health care abuse registries.
  • Valid nursing license (North Carolina or nationwide equivalent); board certification preferred.
  • Professional liability insurance and ability to complete enrollment/credentialing for relevant organizations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and supervise staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant waivers or programs is a plus.

Education & Licenses:

  • Master’s Degree or Advanced Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Compliance with all licensure and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong ethical standards and ability to manage complex projects.

Location & Travel:

This is a remote position that may require limited travel based on service needs.
