Albany Gastroenterology is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. This is a Direct Access role, initially in-office, with a transition to a hybrid model after training.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting nursing interviews to assess eligibility for screening colonoscopy/endoscopy, including collecting medical and family histories, reviewing preps, and scheduling procedures or visits.
2. Managing patients throughout the Capsule Endoscopy process, including obtaining medical history, providing prep instructions, and handling equipment placement and removal.
3. Placing and removing equipment for Capsule Endoscopies.
4. Providing high-quality patient care in an office setting.
5. Maintaining a current NYS LPN License.
6. Having at least one year of clinical experience.
7. Exhibiting excellent computer skills.
8. Demonstrating the ability to care for patients of all ages.
