Job summary

Together Women’s Health, LLC is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our obstetrics team in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on supporting non-stress testing (NST) and in-office OB/GYN procedures, with collaboration across physicians and staff to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include performing NSTs, charting, patient education, triage, immunizations, and assisting with examinations and tests.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Tennessee RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Experience in Women's Health preferred.
• OB/GYN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and monitors non-stress tests (NSTs) and provides nursing support for in-office procedures in accordance with physician direction and established protocols.
• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and complete
• Uses a team approach to develop and achieve daily patient-centered individualized care goals.
• Acknowledges and values the contributions of the patients’ significant others as an integral part of the plan of care
• Performs telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions
• Administers immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; records and documents all such activities in the chart
• Assists physician with patient examinations, diagnostic tests and/or procedures
• Cleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical supplies
• Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.
• Counsels patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level
• Communicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patient
• Coordinates ordering of tests/procedures with other clinical staff
• Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient
• Reports all test results to the patient as directed by the physician
• Additional duties as assigned

WOMEN Obstetrics & Gynecology, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team!

As an experienced practitioner, the Registered Nurseis accountable for providing high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patients and their families through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

• Women's Health experience required, either in a physician office or hospital setting
• One year of OB/GYN experience preferred
• Knowledge of Athena EMR is a plus
