The State of Arkansas Department of Human Services seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across hospitals, clinics, and community health programs in Arkansas.

This role requires extensive overnight travel (4-5 nights per week within the state), AR RN licensure, and SMQT certification within six months; preferred experience in Quality Assurance or compliance, with strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work independently.

Job Duties:

Extensive (4-5 nights a week) overnight travel within the state, occasional weekend and after-hours may be required.

SMQT certified required within six months of employment.

Completes standard, complaint, initial and follow up surveys. All surveys are conducted using CMS and state required forms and/or computer system to meet CMS requirements. Surveys are conducted on-site. Analyzes information gathered to determine facility compliance with requirements,and documenting deficient practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Summary

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. RNs assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
