Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment (Ohio).
• BLS certification required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families to align with their goals.
• Deliver patient care and education, implementing interventions per hospital policies.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care based on results and evidence-based practices.
• Drive improvement with the Clinical Manager on Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Promote High Reliability to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor peers while managing patient care responsibilities.
• Document the nursing process, plan of care, education, updates, and responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and required trainings.
