The RN will provide direct patient care, participate in care planning, and document in EMR while upholding safety and quality standards across units requiring BLS and ACLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS certification required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans: Work with patients and families to create personalized care plans that prioritize needs and goals.
• Deliver patient care: Provide evidence-based care, educate patients and families, and implement interventions per policies.
• Evaluate outcomes: Monitor responses and adjust care based on outcomes and evidence-based practices.
• Drive improvement: Collaborate on Performance Improvement initiatives for better patient outcomes.
• Promote High Reliability: Apply High Reliability principles to improve care and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor: Motivate, educate, delegate, and mentor peers in patient care.
• Document care: Record nursing process, plan of care, education, updates, and responses in EMR.
• Maintain compliance: Follow policies and complete required training.

• Document care: Accurately document the nursing process, plan of care, education, updates, and patient and family responses in the EMR.


• Maintain compliance: Follow organizational and department policies and complete required training and educational requirements.
