Paycom - ATS is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) in Mesa, AZ for an outpatient GI/endoscopy team. The role emphasizes patient interaction, procedural care, and a consistent weekday schedule.

Full-time with 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, no nights or major holidays. You will support patients through the procedural journey, educate pre- and post-procedure, and collaborate closely with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active AZ license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• GI lab/Surgery Center/PACU experience encouraged but not mandatory.
• Proficient with MS Excel and electronic health records (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care before, during, and after GI/endoscopy procedures.
• Admit and educate patients prior to procedures and document updates.
• Prepare procedure rooms and assist physicians during endoscopy.
• Monitor recovery and deliver discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with providers to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain equipment sterility and clinic operations.

Job Details: Job Location: Mesa, AZ 85209, Salary Range: $38.00 - $42.00, We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing GI/endoscopy team. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys patient interaction, procedural care, and working in a collaborative outpatient environment with a consistent weekday schedule.

As an RN on our team, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their procedural experience—from pre-op education through recovery and discharge—while working closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care before, during, and after procedures
• Admit and educate patients prior to procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms and assist physicians during endoscopy procedures
• Monitor patients during recovery and provide discharge instructions
• Accurately document patient information and clinical updates
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Support clinic operations, including equipment cleaning and sterilization
• Foster a positive and compassionate patient experience for patients and families

What We’re Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining team-oriented
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Previous GI, surgery center, PACU, or procedural experience preferred, but not required

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI lab, Surgery Center or Critical Care setting highly preferred
• Pre-Op and/or PACU experience is helpful
• Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as EPIC, required
• Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
