Job summary

Curative Care in Wisconsin seeks an experienced RN to provide direct nursing care and assessment for Adult Day clients, and to train staff across multiple locations. You will contribute to med logs, care planning, and quality audits while traveling between Wauwatosa, South Milwaukee, Menomonee Falls, and Sherman Park areas.

The role emphasizes clinical care, training development, and collaboration with the Education/Quality teams to ensure high standards of patient care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s Degree; Gerontology focus preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience with adults or seniors.
• Experience with training development and delivery.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and client assessment for Curative Adult Day clients.
• Develop and deliver training for Adult Day Services staff.
• Conduct client care assessments and support routine med logs.
• Observe clinical care processes and perform audits, including medication administration.
• Collaborate with Quality and Education to implement trainings and provide nursing input.

This position full-time, benefit eligible, M-F 6 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30-4:30. Must be able to travel to our 4 locations- Wauwatosa, South Milwaukee, Menomonee Falls, and Sherman Park area.

Position Summary

Provides direct nursing care and assessment to Curative Adult Day clients. RN also and nursing related direction and training for Curative Care’s Adult Day Services program staff. Areas requiring training by the Curative RN include but are not limited to: medication administration, use of oxygen, Vagas Nerve Stimulation (VNS), tube feeding, inhaler, and Diastat. Assists with client care assistance as needed. Completes process and record audits or observations. Collaborates with the Quality and Education Department to develop and implement trainings and to provide nursing related input as needed for the organization. Provides routine med log assessment and updating.

Essential Functions

• Nursing care and practice direction.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited professional training program for registered nurse (minimum of Associate’s Degree and focus in Gerontology preferred);
• Use of clinical skills for at least one year;
• Experience serving adults and/or seniors with disability, memory loss, dementia or other health concerns;
• Experience with training development and delivery;
• Demonstrated ability to exemplify positive interpersonal and customer service skills; and
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in addition to proficient problem solving processes.

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensure to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin
• CPR and First Aid Certification (obtains and maintains CPR certification)
