Job summary

Wexford Health Sources is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Youth Justice and Education Center in Memphis, TN. You will assess health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans in collaboration with correctional staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

You'll educate patients, refer appropriately, and contribute to safety and standards on the unit. This role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and quick responsiveness to crises in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and mental health needs and advocate for patients.
• Administer medications per treatment plans and policies.
• Guide treatment plans from start to finish and coordinate with healthcare and correctional staff.
• Support patient education and timely referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to crises and help maintain safety and standards across the unit.

Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you'll do more than care for patients-you'll lead, teach, and advocate. Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you'll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You'll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. Whether you're managing medications, mentoring staff, or responding to a crisis, your skills will make a real impact every day.

What You'll Need
