Job summary

Senior Helpers of Melbourne is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. This part-time role offers flexible weekday hours and meaningful work in home health.

Responsibilities include Start of Care assessments, nursing assessments and supervisory visits, developing care plans, and coordinating with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and families. The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience (home health or geriatric preferred), CPR

Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Home Health, Hospice, Case Management, or Geriatric experience strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete Start of Care assessments for home health and private duty clients.
• Perform nursing assessments and supervisory visits.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and family members.
• Educate clients and families regarding disease management and safety.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight activities.
• Assist with new client admissions as needed.

This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with clients, completing assessments, and working closely with caregivers and families to deliver exceptional care.
