Job summary

Recovery Centers of America in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to contribute to patient recovery within our addiction treatment program. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

The ideal candidate holds an active New Jersey RN license, BLS, and at least two years in behavioral health.

Qualifications

Pay: $39.75-$47.56 per hour

Schedule: Part-time (24 hours per week) Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (every other weekend)

What You’ll Do

As an addiction recovery RN at RCA, you will:

• Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.

• Educate patients and families on addiction recovery processes and effective self‑care strategies.

• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.

• Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.

What We’re Looking For

• An active RN license in New Jersey

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or related fields (preferred).

• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.

• Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to manage medical and behavioral health emergencies effectively.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
