Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to contribute to patient recovery in our Indiana locations. You will conduct intake assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, 2 years in behavioral health or 5 years supervisory experience, and current BLS. CARN preferred; phlebotomy skills are a plus; strong clinical judgment and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Indiana.
• 2 years' experience in behavioral health or 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it during orientation.
• CARN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
• Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on the nature of mental health disorders, the disease of addiction and the need for treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.

What You're Looking For

• A minimum of2 years' experiencein behavioral health, addiction recovery, or 5 years of supervisory experience; phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Current BLS certificationor the ability to obtain it during orientation.
• CARN certification preferred.
• Strongclinical judgmentand the capacity to safely administer medications and proficiency in effectively managing medical and behavioral health emergencies such as suicide ideation and aggression.
• Knowledgeof health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders and DSM criteria and terminology.
• Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
