Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Austin Heart practice. This full-time, weekday role offers dayshift hours, with no nights, weekends, on-call, or holidays.

The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care within a supportive team. Responsibilities include patient flow management, patient and family instruction on medications and treatments, record maintenance, medication administration, room readiness, and handling

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.

• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
