This is an Extra Help position that can work up to 1800 hours per Fiscal Year. This position carries no state benefits / leave accrual.


Special Work Conditions/Preferences - POSITION MAY BE HOUSED IN DIFFERENT DHS OFFICE THAN LISTED. In-state and occasional overnight travel. Must be able to drive car, travel by foot to various locations, climb stairs, read/follow map directions. Independently travel to locations including but not limited to: client residences, hospitals, nursing homes, rehab facilities, DHS offices, and provider agencies. VERIFICATION OF LICENSURE IS COMPLETED THROUGH THE ARKANSAS STATE BOARD OF NURSING ONLINE SEARCH REGISTRY. DISCIPLINARY ACTION(S) WILL BE REVIEWED AND CONSIDERED WHEN SELECTING APPLICANT FOR HIRE.


Preferred: Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. One to two years verifiable RN work experience with in- home services programs or programs providing services to aged or disabled individuals. STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS PREFERRED.

Job Summary

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. RNs assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Minimum Qualifications
